The 1,000 Mile Journey

In 2008, Vance Walstra received an Omprakash Volunteer Grant to work with a Partner in Peru. This past fall, he traveled by bicycle on an outreach tour that spanned 1,000 miles and crossed three state lines. Watch Vance in action in this feature short film and ask yourself, "Where will Omprakash take me?"

Cape Town Station

Cape Town Station

Situated just above the train station and beside the bus depot, the minibus taxi hub is always buzzing, especially during rush hours. There are many lines that can take one all around the Cape Town area. That said, it is ill-advised for visitors to take minibus taxis after dark.
