Girls at Hotel de la Paix/LHA Sewing School. The course on sewing lasts for 10 months. During the course, the girls are provided with free accommodation and food. After graduation, each of them is provided with a new sewing machine and materials. |
Asta Tamuleviciute The girls in PAGE program are visiting Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. The trip is organized by American NGO called EGBOK Mission as part of the course on English and Hospitality Management. The girls are really excited as they had never been to Phnom Penh before! |
Asta Tamuleviciute A monthly visit to a local village. So that children from poor families could go to school, LHA provides their families with rice, fish cans, soy sauce, uniforms and school supplies. |

Asta Tamuleviciute As part of Food for Education project, LHA is building Peace Houses. People can donate $1,400 and build a house for a poor family. This house has been donated by the students from Australian Rotary Club. They had been working for six months to raise the money and built a total of four houses in 2010. |
