We provide FREE accommodation and food at the school, besides we even PAY to volunteers a small pocket money per month as a gesture of gratefulness and appreciation.

Accommodation Info

The rooms are clean but the accommodation isn't comparable to the standard in the west. The accommodation is very basic but volunteers have their own room with views of the Himachal Mountains. In each room is: a single bed, a set of shelves, a desk, a chair and a lamp. There is an electricity supply, but please bring a travel adaptor for plugging things in. There are some nails in the walls for hanging things too, but there is no wardrobe or chest of drawers. All the necessary appliances and furniture are in your room for your own use.

 Kunpan Cultural School is a school where the Tibetan refugees are supported with acadamic Education and computer skill.Our school is located in the countryside approx fifteen kms. below the popular town of McLeod Ganj, northern India, the resident of H.H. Dalai Lama and the Tibetan exile government.  It is in a serene area with some beautiful views of the Himachal Mountains. The school itself is home to twenty-four students and usually between three and five volunteers.
