Cost for Volunteers
Project why has set up a small flat for volunteers where we can accommodate up to 6 volunteers at a time. The cost of the flat share for long-term volunteers is 750 rs a day. This includes all meals, laundry, transport to various location, internet access, TV etc
We would however make a special price for opf @ 500 rs a day or just a little over 10 $
There is a paucity of cheap accommodation in Delhi, the only option being Pahar Ganj, but keeping distances in mind, transport costs becoming prohibitive.
Volunteer Placement Logistics
We are open to volunteers both for short stays (minimum 3 weeks) and long stays (6 months as per present visa regulation)
For volunteers who would stay at our home stay, we provide all support. We have a very good doctor who charges 400 Rs a consultation.
Volunteer Skills Needed
We are always in need of people capable of teaching English to children of all ages. We also would welcome volunteers with creative talent – art, theatre, music, puppetry etc . We also need persons who can work with children with special needs
