Getting to San Gabriel:

Urbanización patron san sebastian H-6
San Sebastián
Cusco, Perú
There are two ways to get to San Gabriel Kindergarten, by bus and by taxi.
Step 1: Getting to the neighborhood.
By taxi: Taxis cost between 4 - 6 soles from Plaza de Armas to Mercadillo Los Nogales (a small, open-air market). Tell the driver to take you to the neighborhood of Los Nogales, which is just a few blocks past the airport. You can walk to the school from the market or take a cab all the way up to the cement stairs, but it will cost you a little more.
By bus: There are a handful of busses (Correcaminos, C-4M, Imperial, etc.) that you can take for 60 centimos that will drop you off two blocks north of Mercadillo Los Nogales. You can walk from there.
Step 2: Walking up to the school.
Head south toward the market, across a small bridge and a river. The road bends to the left, but instead take the stairs across the train tracks. Head uphill to the left for half a block, then take the first right. Follow that street until you come to a set of concrete stairs on the left. Take those. They lead to a basketball/soccer court. Head right down the dirt road and you'll see the hillside school and the colorful greenhouse on your left. You made it!
