Accounts Manager
Overall Responsibility: To manage the financial affairs of Pisco Sin Fronteras and to produce financial information.
Key Areas of Responsibility: To manage day to day incoming money and outgoing expenses. This involves giving money to volunteers, receiving receipts for outgoing expenditures, and receiving money from volunteer donations and contributions.
To input all incoming and outgoing transactions onto the accounts to the allocated fund.
To work directly with Project Managers to oversee all ongoing project budgets.
To produce yearly and quarterly financial statements with relevant notes to assist management with decision making.
Each month to submit all receipts to our Peruvian accountant for tax purposes.
Also to liaise with our fiscal sponsor concerning online donations that they have received on our behalf.
The job will require at least 2 days in the office each week depending on how you choose to manage your time, and you will need to be available for at least an hour each morning to hand out and receive money.
Term of Employment: A minimum stay of 3 months. No salary but lodging, breakfast and dinner will be provided.
Qualifications and Experience: Training and experience in Financial Accounting essential. Spanish preferable but not essential. Ability to work within a management team and take on responsibility
Community Liaison Officer
Overall Responsibility: To assess the social and emotional needs of the families that we work with and connect them with local resources available in Pisco.
Key Areas of Responsibility:To communicate with the families, forge a trusting relationship with them and give them space to tell their story. Then to identify needs of these families and find ways that Pisco Sin Fronteras and other local organizations can be a resource to support and empower them.
Initiate and develop a micro-finance program, working with volunteers from other organizations in Pisco, to fund raise for loans, and manage loan recipients.
Initiate and develop a scholarship program for local students, financially supported by donations to Pisco Sin Fronteras; to work with local schools to identify candidates and monitor and support them through their education.
Working with Project Manager on monthly reports of finished projects and structural stability of finished projects.
This is a full time job, working in the office, on-site, in the community and attending meetings.
Term of Employment: A minimum stay of 3 months. No salary but lodging, breakfast and dinner will be provided.
Qualifications and Experience: Experience in social work or community development highly recommended. Communication skills, patience, compassion, curiosity and professionalism required. High level of Spanish proficiency essential.
Fund-raising and Public Relations Manager
Overall Responsibility: To raise money to fund PSF project work and publicize our work within Pisco, Peru and around the world.
Key Areas of Responsibility:To design and execute fund-raising initiatives in house amongst volunteers, within Peru and internationally.
Researching and developing international and national grant proposals.
To forge partnerships with companies who can provide goods free, or at a discount in Pisco and around the world.
To design and produce publicity for PSF to distribute to both a Spanish and English speaking audience in as many means as possible, including p roduction of monthly newsletter.
To inform the community in Pisco of the work that PSF does and how we can be a resource for them.
The job will require at least 2 days in the office each week depending on how you choose to manage your time.

Qualifications and Experience: Experience in grant writing and public relations preferable. Computer-based graphic design skills would be useful. Spanish proficiency highly preferred but not essential.
English Program Coordinator
Overall Responsibility: To manage the Pisco Sin Fronteras English language program and expand the current program from one day a week to six, and in to various neighborhoods around Pisco.
Key Areas of Responsibility:To create curriculum and lesson plans for various levels of English language proficiency and ages.
To teach English lessons to members of the community, prepare and be responsible for a team of 5-8 PSF volunteers helping give the classes, and assess the progress of students.
To expand the current English teaching program, and develop learning resources.
This position is a full time job, working in the office, with the community and in the classroom. With good time management it would be possible to work half days on other projects a few times a week.
Term of Employment: A minimum stay of 3 months. No salary but lodging, breakfast and dinner will be provided.
Qualifications and Experience: Experience and qualification in teaching foreign language preferred (for example TEFL/TESLA). Spanish preferable but not essential. Good communication and management skills.
