Volunteer Abroad Positions Available
Community Development Volunteer
Volunteers may be asked to help with construction projects, including building and painting schools or orphanages.
We are seeking volunteers for both of our two month long program sessions during the summer. We ask volunteers to pay $1,000 for their month sessions so that we can continue to offer these programs and support our partners in Ghana. No one at Ghana ACT receives any compensation for their work. We will provide airport pick up and drop off, housing, food, and an American Volunteer Coordinator will be on site to provide 24/7 in-country support.
Education Volunteer - Teaching Assistant
Volunteers will assist teachers and lead classes in Computer Education, Math, English, Science, or French.

Grant Writer
We are urgently seeking volunteer grant writers. There are countless grants available, but our current volunteer staff has had little time to apply for them. You will be responsible for researching and applying for grants. This will first require a lengthy discussion with Ghana ACT Director, John Barber to explain the details of our organization and what projects we are seeking funding for. We will then be in regular communication to discuss the progress being made and changes to our project needs.
Volunteers should have excellent writing and communication skills.
