The Most Special Place I Have Ever Been To In My Life print storyJanuary 27, 2012 Educational Support Tibet, India
Being a former student ( who graduated two months ago ) of E.S-Tibet, I'm very privileged to get this wonderful opportunity to be a volunteer in this school, where I have been educated morally as well as literally; brought up with great care and love; and where my mind has got enlighten and my heart has felt something. Thanks for E.S-Tibet and the members of this homely school, I have learnt a lot of valuable things ( like tolerance, how to deal with different personalities, how to satisfy with the things I have, the importance of self-responsibility, how not to take everything as granted, etc ) both when I was a student and especially when I am a teacher for those lovely students. I have been to the schools since I was around 7 years old and I have spent half of my life in the schools learning something. Among these schools of my life, E.S-Tibet is the most special and beautiful one. It means a lot to me. E.S-Tibet, a perfect school as well as a sweet home for those young Tibetans who are thirsty for education and suffering for no places to go in this foreign country after leaving everything behind at the other side of the Himalaya. It provides good facilities of studying, food and accommodation for the students without being paid school fees. In the school, everybody is very close to each other and consider one another as brothers and sisters. During the meal times all the teachers and the students eat on same tables, having chit-chat and learning new things besides having fun. Everybody is friends, brothers and sisters including the teachers after the classes, which makes this school very alive, special and different from other schools. Two months teaching time in my lovely school has taught me lots of useful things that I can use in my future for a better life. The hard-working, energetic, determined students, the attentive manager, friendly colleagues, and peaceful environment - All these special things have made me feel being valued and worth being a volunteer despite the challenges I have had. Thank you E.S-Tibet and everybody who involve in this sweet school, especially the one who set up it and who keep it alive. I will never lose you from my heart and you have given me a lot of things that I haven't expected from you. I'm very grateful to you and your kindness is immeasurable. So, thank you again E.S-Tibet for giving me this great opportunity to be a volunteer and for everything you have given me. I will always be there for you and you are the most great chance I have ever had in my life to renew it! By KYIMO Comments |
