If you believe you would be a capable volunteer and are interested
in receiving a grant, we are excited to read your application! Anyone is eligible to receive a volunteer grant, regardless
of age or nationality. We accept applications on a rolling basis and will contact you for an interview within 4-6 weeks of
submitting your application. Completed applications can be submitted to Ashley Moore (ashley@omprakash.org).
Applicants will increase their chances of receiving
support from the Omprakash Foundation if they can demonstrate, among other things:
-that they have invested time
and effort into learning about their volunteering destination, and that they will continue doing so;
-that they are physically and psychologically prepared to help meet the needs of the project where they will be serving;
-that they genuinely need financial support from the Omprakash Foundation in order to be able to volunteer;
-that they
will commit themselves to helping fulfill the vision of the Omprakash Foundation both while volunteering and after returning.
This commitment might include introducing the Omprakash Foundation to their home or school community, working to support their
host community after leaving it, or helping other worthy educational projects represent themselves within the Omprakash
network.
