is powered by the voluntary efforts of countless individuals around the world. We invite those who have already built connections with our Partners to play an even larger role by joining our administrative arm.

Structure for Involvement
Spread the word about Omprakash by delivering presentations at schools, colleges, libraries, community centers, and more! You can help recruit volunteers and donors to support our Partners, or you can reach out to schools to encourage more educators to use our network to enrich their academic curricula and their service programs.
Regional Coordinators assume responsibility for supporting all Partners, Volunteers, fundraisers, and/or classroom participants within a given geographic area. For example, a Regional Coordinator for Chicago might work to help Omprakash Volunteers organize fundraisers and speaking engagements in that city, or to design service projects to be implemented in Chicago classrooms. A regional coordinator for Nepal would be responsible for recruiting volunteers and/or organizing fundraisers to support our Partners in that country.
Help us become more effective by sharing your expertise in education, international development, fundraising, web marketing, and other relevant fields. Help develop curricula, reach out to corporate sponsors, write grants, review applications for our various programs, design marketing materials, and more!
“Over a year ago, I connected with the Golok Sengcham Drukmo School for Girls in Tibet and started fundraising and building connections with middle-school classrooms in Maine. After volunteering for three months and helping three other Tibetan schools become Omprakash Partners, I am still involved in the Omprakash network. I mentor potential volunteers as they prepare to go abroad, and I'm also working with a local non-profit after-school program to use Omprakash as a resource for service-learning and cultural enrichment. I hope to be back in Tibet this summer!”
