Helping Hands May 01, 2010 - June 01, 2010
I am a student at Pacific Ridge School in Carlsbad, CA. I am the co-founder of Alternative Energy Sources, a service learning group at PRS. This group has been developing and distributing efficient and sustainable forms of alternative energy around the world. For more info on this group, see the AES volunteer page.
In addition to the Alternative Energy work, I will be traveling to Peru this summer for visit Helping Hands, Expand Peru, and PSF. The point of this trip is to expand my knowledge or world issues and what the partners are doing as well as creating a set of documentaries from the trip. These documentaries will help my local community, the partners themselves, and will hopefully contribute to the Omprakash in the Classroom.
